The second round of the Brazilian Presidential election will be held on Sunday, October 26. President Dilma Rousseff, the first round winner, is facing a strong challenge from Aécio Neves, Senator and former Governor of Minas Gerais. Mr. Neves came from behind and placed second in the first round of the elections on October 5th. Our panelists discussed the potential outcomes of the elections and how each would effect Brazil’s business and political climate. They also discussed where the campaigns were focused and how they were being received by different sectors of society.
