September 24 Update

Dear Friends of the CCA

Our Second Annual CCA Awards Gala was a great success. We presented the Statesman of the Year Award to former President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic. We also presented the Lifetime Business Achievement and Lifetime Public Service Awards to Peter Godsoe and Stephen Randall, respectively.

We had some 300 guests who represented a cross section of Canadian business leaders, politicians, academics, journalists and civil servants with an interest in the Americas.

We are sorting through video and photos and will soon have both on the website.

In the meantime, please see President Fernandez’ interview in the Globe and Mail

There is Spanish-language coverage in Listín Diario
