In her current role at La Caisse, Chantal develops and maintains relationships with foreign governments, supports investment teams on regulatory matters, and contributes to the strategic positioning of the organization, which is invested in more than 65 countries. 

She joined La Caisse in 2023 after more than a decade in politics and diplomacy, during which she worked in Paris, Quebec City, and Ottawa, before returning to Montréal. 

Following studies in communications, political science, law, and international relations at Concordia University, Sciences Po Paris, and the Université de Montréal, Chantal worked within the Quebec and Canadian public service on a wide range of mandates. These included serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Deputy Director of Communications for the Prime Minister of Canada. 

Chantal serves on the boards of Médecins du Monde Canada and La Messe Basse, a Montréal-based theatre company. She is also Co‑Chair of the Quebec Committee of the Australia–Canada Chamber of Commerce.
